Representatives from Manulife Vietnam visit 4 children whose heart surgeries were supported with the charity run fund in 2017
On August 2nd, Manulife Vietnam and VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) came to Tam Duc Heart Hospital to visit four children recovering from cardiac surgery. Their operations were supported by Manulife’s fundraising efforts in 2017 from the Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon.
After raising $30,000 in funds, Manulife financially supported 25 children with congenital heart defects. In doing so, Manulife gave these children the chance to continue their courageous journey in life. Bich Quynh (12 years old), Cong Hieu (3 years old), Cat Tuong (11 months old), and Gia Tue (4 years old) were among the 25 children supported by Manulife fund’s in 2017. The visitation highlights the tremendous contribution from Manulife and VCF.
These stories are daily reminders for Manulife and VCF to continue to implement more humanitarian activites and events in the future.
