Sacombank Donates 2 billion VND to Mr. Sun Program

To accompany disadvantaged children with cancer in Vietnam, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) handed over 2 billion VND to the Mr. Sun program. This donation will help many patients and families in need to be able to pay for treatment, not only relieving the financial burden but also become the driving force to help them overcome the hardships, many of whom are being treated at the National Children’s Hospital.

The ceremony was honored to have the participation of Prof.Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health; GS. TS. Dr. Le Thanh Hai, Director of Nation Children’s Hospital; Mr. Duong Cong Minh, Chairman of the Board of Directors – Sacombank; Mr. Rad Kivette, CEO of the VinaCapital Foundation; Mr. Minh Nhan, Founder of the Mr. Sun Program; Ms. Dang Tran Thuy Tien, Mr. Sun’s Ambassador; and Mr. Pham Phu Ngoc Trai, a companion with the Mr. Sun program.

On the same day, the VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) presented 150 gifts to the pediatric patients being treated at the hospital’s Oncology Department. Hopefully, these gifts will help bring joy to the patients so they have a better time in the hospital.

Thank you Sacombank and all the guests for joining hands with us to help our children with cancer. We look forward to having your support to save more lives of pediatric cancer patients in the future.
