Vo Lam Truyen Ky Game series from Game Studio 1 VNG Corporation, in collaboration with VinaCapital Foundation (VCF), donated 35 ASUS laptops to the Care to Rise program and 1 ventilator to the Help Vietnam Breathe program with a total value of 800 million VND (equivalent to 35,500 USD). This donation of laptops will provide remote learning communication devices for disadvantaged children affected by COVID-19 so they can access the educational platform and continue their education. The ventilator will support Nguyen Trai hospital in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to save severe COVID-19 patients.
In November 2021, strictly complying with regulations on pandemic prevention, the handover ceremony was organized with the participation of Mr. Vuong An Hai – Product Manager of team Game Studio 1 VNG Corporation, Mr. Kenny Chien – Commercial Director of ASUS Technology Vietnam Company Limited, and Mr. Rad Kivette – CEO of VinaCapital Foundation. With the help of Vo Lam Truyen Ky Game series, VinaCapital Foundation will dedicate this donation to provide 35 laptops to underprivileged children impacted by COVID-19 in HCMC and Da Nang city so the students can perform scholastically. The gift of one large Newport e360 ventilator deployed to Nguyen Trai Hospital HCMC will save one life a week or more. The laptop assistance program is honored to have the support of ASUS Technology Vietnam Company Limited with the ASUS BR1100F laptop model from the ASUS Education specialized product line. While the medical donation will assist HCMC healthcare system in the ongoing fight against COVID-19, the laptop donation will provide low-income students the ability to perform school education requirements that require internet and communication devices.

VCF has engaged heavily in COVID-19 relief activities for 5 months providing over $1.2 million USD of ventilators for hospitals treating COVID-19 patients as well as personal protective equipment to protect thousands of frontline healthcare workers from the high risk of infection. VCF collaborates with the Fatherland Front Committee of HCMC to distribute medical equipment to the areas of most severe need. VCF also collaborated with the Youth Union to implement the “Grassroot Assistance Program” and the “Care to Rise” program to support vulnerable groups impacted by Covid-19 in HCMC, especially children. Through the programs, VCF donates 3 billion VND to the Youth Union and the Secretariat of Vietnam Youth Federation of HCMC to support vulnerable communities, frontline forces and disadvantaged children, especially orphans, in Ho Chi Minh City.
