On August 12, Children’s Hospital 2 came alive with “Colors of Childhood”, an activity created for children with cancer receiving inpatient treatment. The program gave them a space to play, explore, and express their creativity – bringing moments of joy, taking their minds off the hospital routine, encouraging them to connect freely with friends and volunteers, and gently incorporating positive psychosocial support.

With the theme “A Little Hero Is Growing Within,” the program featured a variety of activities designed to help the children discover the positive qualities within themselves, express the things they love, and share their hopes and wishes.

At the end of the activity, each child took home a set of creations they had made with their own hands. A small keepsake to remind them that, inside every child, there is a “little hero” growing stronger every day, even through the difficult days of treatment.

“Colors of Childhood” carries forward the spirit of giving from Children’s Cancer Run 2026, a fundraising run organized by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Vietnam to support children with cancer, with more than 3,000 participants taking part.

VinaCapital Foundation extends our heartfelt thanks to CanCham Vietnam, Children’s Hospital 2, our sponsors, and volunteers for coming together to create a day filled with color, joy, and meaningful moments for the children.
