According to VCF estimation, every year in Vietnam, there are approximately 16,000 children are born with congenital heart disease, of which 7,500 need urgent surgeries. If the treatment is not on time, thousands of them will pass away before turning 18. Depending on the status, surgery costs can vary from 1,500 USD to 7,000 USD, which is unaffordable for poor families in remote areas. Thousands of children are waiting for a miracle to have healthy hearts.
