A radiant smile post-surgery

Born in a economically disadvantaged countryside with limited access to healthcare, Phuc’s congenital heart defect remained unknown until a free heart screening took place at his school.

The little boy comes from a large family, including his 90-year-old grandfather and a bedridden grandmother who requires constant care. He also has a sister in high school and a brother. While his father works far from home, shouldering the financial burden, his mother takes care of the family. The cost of Phuc’s necessary heart surgery was simply overwhelming and beyond their means.

Fortunately, with the support of Heartbeat Vietnam and Nu Skin Vietnam, Phuc received the life-saving surgery he desperately needed. This not only gave Phuc a chance to grow strong but also brought immense relief to his entire family.

Earlier this year, Nu Skin Vietnam generously donated 4,886,000,000 VND to VinaCapital Foundation’s Heartbeat Vietnam program. This significant contribution sponsored life-saving surgeries for disadvantaged children, including Phuc, who are affected by congenital heart defects.

Thanks to Nu Skin’s support, as of June 2024, a total of 43 children have received life-saving surgeries through their 2024 donation. On behalf of Phuc’s family and countless others, we express our heartfelt gratitude to Nu Skin for granting these children the gift of a brighter and healthier future.
