An’s Saigon Restaurant raises funds to support neonatal care equipment in Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province

On January 5, 2024, An’s Saigon Restaurant and Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise signed a memorandum of understanding for a cooperative fundraising campaign, with VinaCapital Foundations’ media support. This effort aims to provide neonatal care equipment for the General Hospital in Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province.

According to Prime Minister’s Decision No. 353/QD-TTg, Quan Ba District is one of the 74 poorest districts in the country. This is the home of 22 ethnic minority communities living in villages throughout the high mountainous regions. To access healthcare facilities, the residents have to travel a long distance, overcoming treacherous hills and slopes. Due to harsh weather conditions and long distances, reaching medical care is extremely difficult, especially for newborns, preterm infants, and those suffering from severe postnatal problems. Unfortunately, many children are unable to wait to be transferred to higher-level treatment centers.

This campaign will run from January to February 2024, to raise donations from An’s Saigon customers to provide neonatal care equipment, and allow healthcare workers in Quan Ba District, Ha Giang Province, to save the lives of children.
