On July 4, 2018, VinaCapital Foundation in collaboration with Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Dong Nai Communist Youth Union, and Nam A Bank handed over scholarships to 147 excellent ethnic minority students in Dong Nai province to motivate them to stay in school and strive to excel in their education. The ceremony is implemented through the Brighter Path program of the VinaCapital Foundation.
This is the first scholarship award ceremony of the Path to School – Light Up the Future campaign under the Brighter Path Program for ethnic minority students nationwide. In previous years, Brighter Path has been providing scholarships for 7 years of study for ethnic minority girls with excellent academic achievements. This year, thanks to the cooperation of Nam A Bank, scholarship opportunities have been expanded to many ethnic minority students across the country.
The event was honored to welcome Ms. Truong My Hoa – Former Vice President, President of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, senior leaders of Dong Nai Province and Department of Education of Dong Nai Province, Nam A Bank and VinaCapital Foundation.
Inspiration Ambassador, Miss Universe Vietnam H’Hen Nie came to attend the scholarship ceremony and talked with ethnic minority pupils and students of Dong Nai Province.
H’Hen Nie and Nhu Ngoc, a female student receiving A Brighter Path Scholarship – Phase 2 shared the secret to building a good schedule and trying to achieve goals. Miss H’Hen Nie is also an Ede girl, sharing that “Everybody should nurture a dream, no matter what happens in life”. She hopes that ethnic minority children will have a brighter future by having their own dreams and always working hard to make them come true.
