Continuing the journey of listening to little hearts in Thai Nguyen - VinaCapital Foundation

From 2011 to 2025, 21,383 children in Thai Nguyen were reached through VinaCapital Foundation’s Rural Outreach Clinics. The journey continues in 2026, as VinaCapital Foundation, together with the Thai Nguyen Department of Health and Hanoi Heart Hospital, returned to children in Na Phac Commune and Tan Ky Commune on September 29-30, 2026.

During the screening sessions, children received heart health check-ups and echocardiograms when needed. For children with suspected abnormalities, doctors provided consultation and recommended appropriate follow-up or treatment.

2,644 children received heart screenings
86 children received echocardiograms
05 children were diagnosed with congenital heart defects
03 children were recommended for intervention or surgery

VinaCapital Foundation sincerely thanks the Thai Nguyen Department of Health, Hanoi Heart Hospital, and all the families who joined the program in continuing to bring timely detection and care for congenital heart defects closer to children across Thai Nguyen.
