Free heart and obesity screening for children in Tan Hai Ward

On the occasion of National Health Day (April 7), VinaCapital Foundation partnered with Children’s Hospital of Ho Chi Minh City to support a free screening program for heart conditions and obesity for children in Tan Hai Ward, Ho Chi Minh City on April 5, 2026.

This activity is part of a broader community health screening initiative led by the City Children’s Hospital, implemented under the Department of Health’s directive in response to National Health Day 2026, themed “Proactive prevention – for a healthier Vietnam.” Through this program, local children were able to access quality healthcare services close to home, while enabling early detection of increasingly common health issues such as congenital heart disease and obesity.

Beyond providing medical check-ups, the program also helped promote awareness of proactive healthcare within the community, contributing to a future where children grow up healthier and better protected from an early age.
