Run For The Heart 2023 Kick-off, prolonging the journey of “Heart to Heart – Raise the Lives”

On November 24th, 2022, Gamuda Land Vietnam (“Gamuda Land”) and VinaCapital Foundation’s Heartbeat Vietnam Program officially announced the 9th annual charity run with many exciting activities, Run For The Heart (RFTH), to raise funds for children with congenital heart defects.

With the theme “Dream Run” the Organising Committee wishes to spread the program’s meaning to the community and hopes everyone who participates in Run For The Heart 2023 will be a “Dream Carrier” and bring life-saving opportunities to our little hearts.

Run For The Heart 2023 will be a combination of both online fundraising activities and offline runs. The fundraising campaign is going to last for several months with numerous exciting activities. Besides, the offline run along with a closing ceremony to announce the total donations raised from the community will happen at Celadon City, the ‘green lung’ of the West of HCMC, on 12th February 2023 with the participation of more than 10,000 people.

Everyone can support the program in many different ways including direct donations at Gamuda Land’s offices in Ho Chi Minh City, online transfer to Heartbeat Vietnam, or joining the virtual run Run For The Heart Online on Vietrace365, the most popular online running platform for Vietnamese runners. Mr. Dennis Ng, General Director of Gamuda Land Vietnam LLC., represented the Organizers to give a speech at the Kick-off ceremony: “The 9^th Run For The Heart takes place after nearly 2 years of suspension because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, I really hope the campaign this year will receive strong support from the community, to be able to raise the biggest fund ever in the history of the program, because thousands of children are waiting to get the ‘miracle’ to have a healthy heart.”

Over the past 8 events, Run For The Heart has raised more than 35 billion VND, helping more than 1,300 disadvantaged children with congenital heart defects receive timely surgery, bringing a brighter future for them and their families.
