After undergoing successful surgery to treat his congenital heart defect, the baby boy Hoang Duong can now breathe with ease. His healed heart enables him to grow healthily and relieves the burden weighing on his family.

Before the surgery, Hoang Duong would turn purple when he cried, and he struggled to breathe even during basic activities like breastfeeding. Both Hoang Duong’s parents used to work. However, because of Hoang Duong’s poor health, his mother chose to stay at home to care for him. Shortly after, the economy took a downturn, leaving his father unemployed. Meeting their daily needs became difficult, let alone affording Hoang Duong’s surgery.
