Every year, Central Vietnam has been hit by more than 10 consecutive tropical storms, causing severe flooding and landslides, making the lives of the local people more difficult. In particular, storm No. 6 passed and heavily affected the lives of people in the mountainous areas of Quang Ngai province.
After receiving a call from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Quang Ngai province, VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) quickly mobilized resources and supported 250 rice cookers (1.8L capacity) for people under difficult circumstances in Son Dung and Son Mua communes of Son Tay district. In addition, VCF also donated two 50-inch TVs to a school in Ba To district – a mountainous district of Quang Ngai province that was damaged after storm No. 6.
With this support, we hope to contribute and give more motivation to help people overcome difficulties and re-establish normal life after the storm.
