VITA Clinic and VinaCapital Foundation bring a “Fun Summer with Love” to 400 pediatric patients at Children’s Hospital 2

On June 20, 2023, VITA Clinic and VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) organize the “Fun Summer with Love” event for 400 pediatric patients and their caregivers at Children’s Hospital 2 to celebrate June, the Month of Action for Children. The activity brings an exciting and loving experience to underprivileged children currently receiving hospital treatment.

Along with clinical healthcare, VITA Clinic and VCF believe that psychological support is critical to holistic pediatric patient treatment. The program will reduce suffering and make hospitalization, treatments, and follow-ups less traumatic for the children and their families.

The “Fun Summer with Love” event is organized to give all the sick children at the Children’s Hospital 2 an opportunity to celebrate the beginning of Summer – one of the happiest times of the year for most children and to create wonderful memories for their parents.

With support from VITA Clinic, the program provides 400 gift sets valued at 80 million VND and entertainment activities for pediatric patients with cancer, heart and other health complications to improve the children’s physical and mental health. This is an activity within the VITA Clinic’s sponsorship for VCF’s programs to support thousands of underprivileged children and their mothers across Vietnam both financially and psychologically.

In September 2022, VITA Clinic and VinaCapital Foundation initiated a collaboration to empower and transform the lives of disadvantaged children in Vietnam. According to the agreement, from September 2022 to August 2023, VITA Clinic provides sponsorship to 4 major programs of VinaCapital Foundation including Heartbeat Vietnam, Grassroots Assistance, Survive to Thrive, and Care to Rise. The support from VITA Clinic brings life-saving heart surgeries to 10 poor children with congenital heart defects, 900 gift sets and entertainment activities for pediatric patients in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, 19 pieces of neonatal equipment and training for 1 remote medical center in Quang Ngai province, and 200 family grants and recreational activities for orphans and disadvantaged children affected by Covid-19 in HCMC.
