On 10th December 2022 in Hanoi City, at the Loving Christmas event for pediatric patients held at National Children’s Hospital, VITA Clinic and VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) distribute 500 Christmas gifts to pediatric patients. The activity brings a festive and warm Christmas “giving” spirit to underprivileged children who are currently receiving treatment in the hospital.

Not only is Christmas a time to spread joy and happiness, but it is also a time to give, share, and think about the needs of others. Along with clinical healthcare, VITA Clinic and VCF believe that psychological support is a critical component of holistic pediatric patient treatment. This helps the children and their families to cope with stress, overcome hardship and strive for a stronger, healthier future. The Loving Christmas event is organized to give all the sick children at the National Children’s Hospital an opportunity to celebrate one of the happiest times of the year and create wonderful memories with their families. This is an activity within the VITA Clinic’s sponsorship for VCF’s programs to support thousands of underprivileged children across Vietnam both financially and psychologically.

The Loving Christmas event is a joint partnership among the National Children’s Hospital, VCF, VITA Clinic, and other partners. With the sponsorship of VITA Clinic, VCF’s Grassroots Assistance program provides 500 gift sets valued at 81 million VND and entertainment activities for pediatric cancer and heart patients to help improve the children’s physical and mental health. On this occasion, VITA Clinic and VCF teams also visit 3 poor children with congenital heart defects after their life-saving surgeries. The three babies are among 10 heart children who are supported by VITA Clinic for their medical procedures, all of whom are recovering well and will be discharged from the hospital soon to enjoy a healthy life and positive future.

“It’s VITA Clinic’s honor to cooperate with the National Children’s Hospital and VinaCapital Foundation to organize the Loving Christmas event for underprivileged pediatric patients,” shares Mrs. Dee Truong, CEO of VITA Clinic, “This activity reaffirms our commitment to a more beautiful life for all. I hope Loving Christmas will give the patients the strength to have a speedy recovery, and their families the motivation to overcome difficulties and strive for a brighter future.”

“VinaCapital Foundation is honored to partner with the National Children’s Hospital and VITA Clinic to bring happiness and Loving Christmas to the sick and suffering children who are in need of our support,” states Rad Kivette, CEO of VinaCapital Foundation, “We are grateful to have assistance from a compassionate partner like VITA Clinic. I believe VCF’s partnership with VITA Clinic will continue to bring brighter futures to our children and enable families to escape poverty and enjoy a healthier and happier life.”

In September 2022, VITA Clinic and VinaCapital Foundation initiated a collaboration to empower and transform the lives of disadvantaged children in Vietnam. According to the agreement, from September 2022 to August 2023, VITA Clinic will provide a sponsorship to 4 major programs of VinaCapital Foundation including Heartbeat Vietnam, Grassroots Assistance, Survive to Thrive and Care to Rise to support thousands of underprivileged children and their families across Vietnam to improve their lives.
