VUS visits and gives gifts to children with congenital heart defects at E Hospital Hanoi

On December 9, the Heartbeat Vietnam and VUS teams paid a visit to E Hospital Hanoi and presented gifts to six disadvantaged children with congenital heart defects. These are 6 out of 20 underprivileged heart children who are supported for surgeries by VUS.

During this visit, the VUS team also listened to the doctor’s sharings about the children’s medical conditions and came to understand the challenging familial circumstances these children were in. VUS commits to working alongside HBVN to save and transform the lives of Vietnamese children born with congenital heart defects.

Previously, on June 26, 2022, VUS held the Amazing Running Day – a special sports event for parents and SuperKids students and donated 500,000,000 VND to HBVN.

In December, VUS continued to transform into the “Hero of the Hearts” with the fundraising running program “Run For Little Hearts” for employees. Thereby, VUS donated 50,000,000 VND to HBVN’s Scar of Life event. These contributions have sponsored timely heart surgeries and treatment fees for children with CHD.
