On January 10, 2023, Heartbeat Vietnam (HBVN) and Gamuda Land Vietnam (Gamuda Land) visited and presented gifts to five disadvantaged children with congenital heart defects at Tam Duc Heart Hospital. These are children sponsored with heart surgeries through the event “Run For The Heart”, an annual charity run jointly organized by HBVN and Gamuda Land. As a goodwill ambassador of the event, Supermodel Vu Thu Phuong had the opportunity to visit and encourage children who had just recovered from heart surgeries. Musician Singer Hoang Bach, who has long been involved in many charitable activities, also accompanied the visit. Both artists paid close attention to and shared with the children and their families during their visit.
Thao Linh, a 10-year-old from Ca Mau province, is one of five children supported by the program who have congenital heart defects. She revealed that she enjoys singing and her ambition is to become a singer. Thao Linh not only expressed her gratitude to the program and its sponsors, but she also sang the “Ganh Me” song, which brought tears to the eyes of every participant. Linh’s mother and other visitors were overcome with emotion as they listened to the girl sang.
Seeing the little angels reborn with healthy hearts during the visit, we hope that the event “Run For The Heart” will continue to attract the attention and support of many sponsors and participants, allowing us to help provide more underprivileged children in Vietnam with access to heart surgeries than ever.
