Gamuda Land and Heartbeat Vietnam visited 10 children who received free heart surgeries thanks to the Run For The Heart 2023 event

The afternoon of July 17 was filled with heartwarming moments as Gamuda Land Vietnam (Gamuda Land) and the VinaCapital Foundation’s (VCF) Heartbeat Vietnam (HBVN) program paid a visit to Tam Duc Heart Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City and presented gifts to 10 pediatric patients and their families. The funds received through the “Run For The Heart 2023” event, hosted by Gamuda Land in partnership with HBVN, enabled these disadvantaged children with congenital heart defects to have free life-saving surgery.

“When I’m cured, I can play hide and seek with my friends!”

For Uyen Nhi, a 9-year-old girl from Lam Dong who suffered from a congenital heart defect, the simple joy of playing with friends was once a dream. Uyen Nhi is now able to regain a healthy heart rhythm to fully enjoy her childhood like many other children.

Previously, in February 2023, the “Run For The Heart 2023” event with the theme “Heart to Heart – Raise the Lives” successfully raised 5,423,327,688 VND to fund life-saving surgeries for 193 children with congenital heart defects. We are grateful to Gamuda Land for their consistent support throughout the years in assisting in the saving of small hearts and bringing hope to their families.
