Launching Nutrition Program “Millions Of Glasses Of Milk For Community” Between Vietnam National Children’s Hospital, Nutricare., Jsc And VinaCapital Foundation To Support Pediatric Patients With Cancer

VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) in collaboration with Nutricare., JSC, and Vietnam National Children’s Hospital (VNCH) announced today the launch of the Nutrition Program “Millions of Glasses of Milk for Community” in VNCH from April to December 2021. The program will provide free 2,700 cans of nutrient milk Leanmax Hope 400grams along with weekly Funny Class for pediatric cancer patients and monthly health education sessions for parents and caregivers at VNCH to improve the nutritional care for these patients in the hospital. The total program expenses valued at more than 1 billion VND are sponsored by Nutricare., JSC.

The program expects to enhance the nutritional care for pediatric cancer patients and raise awareness about the role of nutrient milk for pediatric patients during their treatment and their recovery by conducting the following activities in 2021:

• Provide free milk Leanmax Hope 400 grams for pediatric cancer patients at VNCH from April to December 2021, with a total estimated number is 2,700 cans.
• Organize Funny Class every 2 weeks for pediatric cancer patients with fun-for-children topics about milk, foods, and nutrition.
• Organize health education sessions on nutrient milk for parents and caregivers once a month when the hospital gives free milk to patients. Being led by VNCH’s nutritionists and Nutricare’s advisors, these education sessions will provide guidelines for using special milk Leanmax Hope as well as knowledge about nutrition for children to raise awareness about the importance of nutrient milk for children with cancer.
• Survey to evaluate the impacts of supplying nutrient milk on the physical condition of pediatric cancer patients before and after 03 to 06 months of receiving milk at VNCH.
