In early 2024, the VinaCapital Foundation’s Heartbeat Vietnam program continued to receive support from Rotary International District 3740, Rotary Club Saigon International, Rotary International District 3662, and Rotary International District 3680. These organizations are member clubs of the non-profit Rotary International, connecting individuals around the world who are dedicated to community service. Together, they raised $84,000 to provide congenital heart surgery for disadvantaged children in Vietnam.

The sponsorship was handed over to the Heartbeat Vietnam program on March 25th during a heartfelt and intimate meeting with the children and their families at Tam Duc Heart Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. Despite the language differences, Rotary members from South Korea united their hearts with the children’s, attentively listening to the families’ stories and gaining a deep understanding of the hardships these little ones face. This heartfelt exchange created cherished memories for everyone involved.

Moreover, it brought immense joy to the VinaCapital Foundation and the Heartbeat Vietnam program to warmly receive the Rotary delegation at our office. We were thrilled to share our mission and work towards enhancing the lives of underprivileged children and women in Vietnam.

The VinaCapital Foundation and the Heartbeat Vietnam program sincerely appreciate the generous individuals and organizations who have dedicated their time, energy, and efforts to assist us in our mission of saving underprivileged children with congenital heart defects. With their invaluable support, we remain confident that these children will soon regain their health and be able to pursue their dreams.
