FLG Việt Nam collaborates with VinaCapital Foundation to distribute Christmas gifts to pediatric patients at the City Children’s Hospital

On the morning of December 22nd, 2022, a warm and laughter-filled Christmas event for children took place at the City Children’s Hospital (HCMC). On this occasion, FLG Vietnam Group and VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) presented 150 gifts to pediatric patients in the Department of Oncology – Hematology, and Department of Nephrology – Endocrinology.

This is a continuation of the partnership between FLG Vietnam group and VCF to bring joy and a brighter future to disadvantaged children suffering from serious illnesses. Since 2019, FLG Vietnam has sponsored VCF and the Heartbeat Vietnam program to provide free heart surgery opportunities to poor children with congenital heart disease. This funding comes from donations by FLG Vietnam members, customers, and employees through donation boxes located at its nationwide gym clubs.

In addition to physical health care from the medical team at the hospital, FLG Vietnam Group and VCF believe that any psychological assistance will also be an encouragement to help ease the children and families’ sufferings to overcome illness and difficulties resiliently. On children’s holidays such as Mid-Autumn Festival and Christmas with VCF’s coordination work, FLG Vietnam also organizes fun events and distributes gifts to children at many hospitals. Most recently in early September, members of FLG Vietnam came to celebrate with children with congenital heart defects at Tam Duc Heart Hospital during the “Mid-Autumn Festival Connecting Love” event.

This Christmas gift-giving event continues to be one of the most exciting milestones along our meaningful and enduring journey. VCF would like to thank FLG Vietnam Group for your care of these children in the most practical way throughout the years. We also wish to continue receiving more sharing and love from FLG Vietnam as well as other benefactors to constantly create happy moments for children in their fighting journey against illness.
