On June 3, 2022, the TAS’s Heartbeat Bazaar Event was successfully organized by The American School (TAS) to raise money for Heartbeat Vietnam. The day was filled with lots of exciting activities including students’ challenges, raffles, fun sports games, etc. Food and beverage vendors’ booths added some delicious touches to the attendees’ experience.
VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) and Heartbeat Vietnam (HBVN) were happy and grateful to see TAS students, parents, teachers, and staff joining this meaningful event to support the Heartbeat Vietnam program and fundraise for underprivileged children’s heart surgeries. We believe that this TAS students’ meaningful event will inspire many students at many other schools to do good things and help disadvantaged children and vulnerable communities across Vietnam.
ABOUT THE AMERICAN SCHOOL (TAS):
The American School was founded in 2010 as a private and international Early Childhood to Grade 12 college preparatory school. Their goal is to educate the whole child incorporating mind, body, and spirit.
From 2014 until May 2022, the funds from TAS helped over 43 children receive free heart surgeries. Every year, TAS hosts fundraising activities with the participation of all students from kindergarten to Grade 12 and teachers. TAS’s annual activities aim to raise awareness about congenital heart defects, the Heartbeat Vietnam program and raise funds to support surgery costs for disadvantaged children with congenital heart defects.
