The Vietnam – Canada Friendship Association Hand The Funds Raised From The Hanoi Run For Children 2019 To Its Beneficiaries

On March 2, 2021, in Hanoi City, the Canada Friendship Association (The Vietnam Union Of Friendship Organizations) held a check-handing ceremony representing the fund raised from the Hanoi Run For Children occasion since 2019 to its beneficiaries.

On December 8, 2019, the Hanoi Run For Children 2019 charity event was successfully held at the main gate of Thong Nhat Park, Hanoi. Participants were the Ambassadors, representatives of embassies in Hanoi, businesses, sponsors, and celebrities, who have always accompanied the event for many years as well as locals and international friends who were living and studying in Hanoi. The 2019 run raised more than 1.1 billion VND to support the treatment of disadvantaged children with cancer and heart defects at the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital, Hanoi Heart Hospital, and Heartbeat Vietnam – VinaCapital Foundation.

From 2009 to 2019, Hanoi Run For Children helped save 357 children with congenital heart defects (CHD) through Heartbeat Vietnam. Although the event could not take place in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers hope to be able to organize the event again in the coming years to help more children live healthily again and continue writing their dreams.
