In the third quarter of 2023, thanks to the support of Victoria Healthcare’s staff and customers, an additional donation of 900 USD was made to the Heartbeat Vietnam program. This generous contribution is dedicated to covering the expenses of heart surgeries for underprivileged children, made possible through the donation boxes placed within Victoria Healthcare’s clinic system.
Since 2013, the unwavering support from Victoria Healthcare has provided surgical opportunities for 28 underprivileged children born with congenital heart defects.
In addition, on World Heart Day, September 29, Dr. Mason Cobb, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Victoria Healthcare International Clinic, together with many other distinguished guests such as Dr. Tran Tu Nam, Head of the Department of Cardiology at Tam Duc Heart Hospital, Dr. Cao Dang Khang, Head of Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery Department at University Medical Center of Ho Chi Minh City, and artist Jun Pham – a long-time companion of HBVN, participated in a panel discussion to raise awareness about congenital heart defects. The insights shared by Dr. Cobb and the guests helped the community to gain a better understanding about congenital heart defects and join hands in protecting underprivileged children born with this disease.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the compassionate individuals who have contributed alongside Heartbeat Vietnam on this significant journey! We kindly ask for your continued support as we strive to bring strong heartbeats to as many children as possible.
