VinaCapital Foundation and FedEx Express bring the “fairy tale world” to pediatric patients

A makeover has breathed new life into the hallways of the General Pediatrics Department at Children’s Hospital 2 in Ho Chi Minh City and the Pediatric Department of Hanoi Heart Hospital. Now adorned with vibrant paintings featuring charming cartoon characters, these walls have been transformed into captivating scenes that bring smiles and uplift the spirits of the little patients throughout their hospital stay.

This is the outcome of 120 hours of dedicated decorating by volunteers from FedEx Express and VinaCapital Foundation.

It is part of the annual event “FedEx brings smiles to the heart,” which aims to create a welcoming hospital environment for pediatric patients and their families.

Additionally, the event has brought immense joy to pediatric patients through interactive activities, games, and heartfelt gifts like books, snacks, and milk.

Driven by a deep-rooted dedication to creating a positive impact in the community, FedEx Express has been a steadfast partner of VinaCapital Foundation’s Rural Outreach Clinics program for 12 years. Together, we have brought free heart check-ups to remote areas, ensuring that children from underprivileged backgrounds with congenital heart defects receive timely and crucial diagnoses.
