On August 28th, 2018, representatives of VinaCapital Foundation and Mr. Wyeren Yap Voi Soon – General Director of Gamuda Land HCMC, and Mr. Angus Liew Bing Fooi – Deputy General Director of Gamuda Land HCMC, the main sponsor of Run for the Heart 2017, visited 10 children after heart surgery and 2 children waiting for the surgery at Tam Duc Heart Hospital. They are all brave children with congenital heart defects who are supported by funds raised from Run for the Heart 2017.
With a fund of more than 7 billion VND, Gamuda Land has sponsored Heartbeat Vietnam to provide free life–saving heart surgery for 272 children with congenital heart defects. The visit is a bridge to connect the sponsors, the celebrities such as Actor Kim Ly, MC Vinh Phu, Actor Viet Trang, and Singer Y Kroc with the children and their families.
Actor Kim Ly shares that he is strongly touched when he learns about the pain that the children have to suffer.
MC Vinh Phu cannot hide his admiration to the bravery and determination of the children and their family in the journey to conquer congenital heart defects.
The representatives of Gamuda Land are filled with happiness when the children and their families look so happy with the presents from the sponsors.
This visit marks the Launching of Run for the Heart 2018. With the message “CONNECT THE HEARTBEAT – GROW UP THE SEED OF LIFE”, this year’s run aims at raising larger funds to save brave little hearts with congenital defects.
