VinaCapital Representatives Visit Children After Successful Heart Surgeries

Last Friday, VinaCapital, one of the most dedicated sponsors of VinaCapital Foundation, visited 5 children at Medical University Hospital. VinaCapital Foundation has received sponsorship for our operating costs from VinaCapital throughout all 13 years we’ve been active. Their generosity has enabled us to stretch our reach and touch the lives of thousands of children and their families.

At the visit, 3 representatives had the chance to meet with five children with highly complicated heart defects. Ms. Thu Nguyen showed her sympathy for the loving dad of a 5-month-old baby whose heart suffered from serious defects that hadn’t been fully cured yet.

The doctor said the baby needed to wait until next year for her heart to develop more to get heart surgery. Her recent surgery only removed a blood clot in her chest to help her breathe normally.

Talking to the lovely girl who had been through 5 heart surgeries, Ms. An Le gently wiped her tears. She couldn’t express all of the love she had for the brave girl. Among the children, there were two boys from central Vietnam. Their parents were filled with happiness and gratitude talking to Ms. Phuong Cao.

Three ladies gave each child presents and encouraged their parents to keep trying and never lose hope for a bright future.

We are grateful to have VinaCapital support our organization so that 100% of our donations go directly to help our beneficiaries, whether it is children suffering from congenital heart defects, premature babies and babies in emergency cases, doctors and nurses that need training to act quickly in times of crisis, or ethnic minority female students need empowering.
