VinaCapital’s Visit to City Children’s Hospital

On 27 May 2020, Mr. Brook Taylor, Chief Operating Officer, VinaCapital Fund Management Co. Ltd came to City Children’s Hospital to visit Di Tuong – one of the children with congenital heart defects who have been supported through our “Together We Save Children’s Hearts” campaign.

Di Tuong is a 1-year-old boy who suffers from a single ventricular heart. He is the second son of a very poor family in Vinh Long province. The family has four members living in a charitable house. The father’s income of VND3 million/month is the only source to raise the whole family. The boy was discovered to have a single ventricular heart at 2 months of age, and he suffered from sickness until his recent surgery. Today’s donation is supporting him to have follow-up tests after the surgery.
